Madagascan Raffia skilfully hand-plaited to create our signature Wide Braid Raffia. In order to ensure a continuous finish, the craftsperson gradually feeds new strands into the plait so that no joins are visible to the eye. Luxuriously milled cowhide is coupled with Helen Kaminski's hallmark Raffia Braid. To clean, do not use any harsh chemical or dry clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth. Variations in raffia braid styles are an indication of the unique and authentic character of each handmade piece.
